Research

2007: Amputation in Louisiana, 1999-2003: a retrospective population study. 

An analysis of 3,945 amputation cases involving 2,839 patients in Louisiana during the years 1999 through 2003. Findings include no statistical difference between national amputation rates and relative distribution of etiologies, the correlation between the number of amputations a person receives and age at the time of first amputation, and significant seasonality.
